CSI Big Men Plan Weekend Trips

A pair of Southern Idaho big men are planning to hit the road this weekend for official visits.
Guillaume Yango, a 6-8, 240 pound power forward from Martinique, West Indies, is slated to visit the University of the Pacific (March 26-28). According to CSI Asst. Coach Jay Cyriac, Yango is also being recruited by Idaho State and Weber State this spring.

Yango averaged 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game this season in a reserve role for the Golden Eagles. In fact, he started just one of CSI's 30 games this winter. He logged roughly 10 minutes per game and shot 60 percent from the floor, so Yango made the most of his minutes.
Another forward, 6-7, 235 pound garbage man deluxe Clint Deas, is scheduled to visit Winthrop University this weekend. Winthrop, which is located in South Carolina, has been on Deas all year long.
A native of Garner, N.C., Deas also came off the bench for the Golden Eagles. He appeared in all of CSI's 32 games, but started just one.
More known for his rebounding than scoring, Deas averaged 2.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 2002-2003 for Southern Idaho. He shot 56 percent from the floor and logged an average of 13 minutes per game.
Both Yango and Deas plan on making spring decisions, and JUCO Junction will keep you posted on their recruitments as signing date approaches.
