CSIs Deas Headed Back to Native State

Clint Deas, a 6-6, 230 pound power forward from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Id., has committed to Appalachian State.
Deas considered Rider and Winthrop before choosing the Mountaineers.

A native of Garner, N.C., Deas averaged 2.8 points and 5.4 rebounds for the 26-6 Golden Eagles. He appeared in all 32 games for CSI, starting just one. He shot 56 percent from the floor and 54 percent from the foul line.
Despite not being the most polished or skilled offensive player, Deas is a physical big man who can rebound and be tough around the tin.
Deas is the second junior college big man that App State has added this year. Back in the fall, the Mountaineers inked another Tar Heel State native, David Hardy of Sheridan J.C. in Wyoming.
