CSIs Williams Focusing on Trio

Jaison Williams, the College of Southern Idaho's versatile 6-3, 180 pound combo/shooting guard, is focusing his attention on three college programs this spring.
JUCO Junction caught up with CSI Asst. Coach Jay Cyriac recently, and he informed us that Williams is looking at West Virginia, Oklahoma and Fresno State.

In fact, Oklahoma Head Coach Kelvin Sampson was at the Region 18 Tournament quarterfinals earlier this month to watch Williams play. Following the completion of CSI's season, West Virginia Head Coach John Belein visited with Williams in Twin Falls.
Williams started 27 of 31 games for the Golden Eagles in 2002-2003, averaging 14.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. He shot 41 percent from beyond the three point arc and 86 percent from the charity stripe.
CSI was eliminated from the Region 18 semis by Utah Valley back on March 7.
Cyriac said that Williams will likely take official visits to the three programs atop his list this spring. When dates are nailed down for the trips, JUCO Junction will let you know via an article. Stay tuned!
