CSU-Bakersfield signs two

The California State University Bakersfield Roadrunners will be entering their third year of division one this coming season. The move to the NCAA Division One level is a four year process. CSUB will become a fulltime member in June 2010. CSUB head coach Keith Brown just recently picked up two junior college players for next season. JucoJunction has the latest in this story.
Anthony Dandy, (SO) 5-foot-10 (165) from San Bernardino, CA, has played at Riverside Community College the past two seasons. Dandy averaged 13.9 ppg and shot 50.5% (160-317) from the floor this past season for the Tigers.

Patrick Carlson, (SO) 6-foot-2 (200) from Reno, NV, played this past season at Lassen Community College in Susanville, CA. Carlson started his career at Butte College in northern California. Patrick, a left-handed shooting guard, averaged 18.8 ppg and 5.5 rebounds this season for the Cougars. Carlson had a season high of 38 points versus Feather River College earlier this year.
The Roadrunners now have three junior college players in this recruiting class. Chepe Lara, (SO) 6-foot-8 from the College of the Sequoias, signed with the Roadrunners back in the fall.
