"Hills started his college career at Shasta College a few seasons back and is a left-handed wing player that is very long and wiry," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Hills averaged 14 ppg, 5.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists this season. Hills received interest from Kentucky Wesleyan and Central Missouri State before deciding on Tarleton State.
Donta Smith averaged 18 ppg and 11 rebounds this year while making the all region team.
"Donta is a combo forward, more of a 4/3 type player with a great body who can knock down the 15-17 footer. Donta has a really good feel for the game," said Swanson.
Donta received interest from North Alabama and Arkansas Tech in the recruiting process.
