Within a week of committing to the Memphis Tigers, Ar'mond Davis did an about face an opened up his recruitment via a Twitter announcement.

Davis visited the Bluff City last weekend and committed on the spot. Rumblings started occurring Sunday night that Davis might not stick with his verbal announcement. Josh Pastner and staff were aware of the rumors and were told by Davis that there was nothing to worry about.
Davis originally had visits set with Texas A&M this upcoming weekend, Alabama on September 18, and LSU October 3.
Davis has said a lot of positive things about the Memphis program since his visit, and some of the coaching staff still have high hopes in the Tigers' chances of landing him.
He is a 6-foot-6 sophomore wing, who currently attends junior college at the College of Southern Idaho.
Tiger Sports Report will have more about this situation as information becomes available
