New Mexico Junior College head coach James Miller informed JucoJunction today that Dequan Hicks will play at Missouri State University next fall. The power forward is ranked No. 64 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150.

Missouri State University plays in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Bears are coached by Paul Lusk.
Hicks is currently averaging 12.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for the 12-4 Thunderbirds this season. Hicks has connected on 57 per game (75-131) from the floor this season.
The Racine, Wisc. native played this past summer at Jerry Mullen's JUCO Camp.
Hicks now joins teammate Alex Phillips (Eastern Illinois University) in finding a NCAA D1 program for next season.
