"Andre Spight has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils" said South Plains College Assistant Coach Hank Plona.
Spight, a combo guard, will look to play more point guard this coming season for the Texans.

Spight, a one-time UTEP signee out of high school, hails from Pasadena, CA.
Spight helped the Texans to a 29-6 record last year and a trip to the NJCAA National Tourney
for Head coach Steve Green.
Spight averaged 16 ppg, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 asissts last season. Spight really had a great
showing this summer at Mullen's Top 100 Camp and received plenty of suitors after the event.
JucoJunction will see the Texans in a few months at the Mitchell-Mullen Dallas Blowout in early October. The event has been an annual trip for the JucoJunction staff for the past 14 years.
