Dejuan Wright ready for Division One

Gillette College in Gillette, WY is a new member of the NJCAA this coming season. Gillette will play in Region IX in its inaugural season of basketball as longtime head coach Shawn Neary comes over from Miles City Community College to guide the Pronghorns. JucoJunction was given the heads up on a Pronghorns combo guard who has found a school for next season before ever playing a game for Gillette College.
"DeJuan Wright has committed to Florida International University for next season," said Marty Richter.

Richter was recently attending the Casper College Jamboree and gave JucoJunction the heads up on this commitment for the Golden Panthers for next season. Wright, 6-foot-3 (175) from Detroit, played his freshman season at Ferris State University in Michigan an NCAA Division Two school back in 2007-2008. Wright averaged 10.8 ppg and 5 rebounds in 24 minutes a game that season.
"DeJuan is combo guard who can score the ball many ways on the floor. DeJuan is also a very active defender," said Richter.
Wright will look to lead the Pronghorns this coming season in Region IX. JucoJunction will keep fans posted on how he does during his sophomore season this year right here at your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
