New Mexico Junior College assistant coach James Miller informed JucoJunction today that Dequan Hicks will continue his college career at Northwestern State University in the Southland Conference.

Hicks averaged 12.7 points and 7 rebounds this season. The Racine, Wisc. native played the past two season for the T-Birds. The T-Birds finished this season at 23-9 in the rugged West Texas Region.
Hicks is ranked No. 64 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150. Hicks committed to Missouri State University back in the fall semester but reopened his recruitment during the season.
