Diablo Valleys Charlo Will Ink Late

Mo Charlo, a versatile 6-7, 210 pound small/combo forward from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif., has decided to sign in the spring.
According to DVC Head Coach Steve Coccimiglio, Nevada-Reno was hoping to ink Charlo during this week's signing period. Charlo took an unofficial visit to UNR in late September.

After much introspection, Charlo recently informed Coccimiglio that he will sign late.
A native of Eureka, Calif., Charlo established himself as one of the top freshmen in California JC ranks in 2002-2003.
He averaged 16.6 points and 8.2 rebounds for the Vikings.
In addition to Nevada-Reno, UNLV, Utah State, Pacific and Long Beach State are also involved with Charlo.
"Mo is multiskilled," Coccimiglio said. "He handles it, shoots it, and passes well."
"He can play the post, but he is better of facing the basket," Coccimiglio concluded.
JUCO Junction hopes to catch Charlo and Diablo Valley in action sometime this winter. In the meantime, we will keep you posted on his recruitment. Stay tuned.
