Diagne finds JUCO

1st Team All State pick Moustapha Diagne has found his college home. The former Pope John star is headed to Northwest Florida Junior College in Niceville Florida.

Diagne was headed to Syracuse but was denied admission this past week. At Northwest Florida Diagne will join his teammate this past season Jeromy Rodriguez to once again form a terrific inside duo. Northwest Florida won the Junior college national championship this past season and will have a legitimate shot to repeat

This past season he led Pope John to a 28-3 record, Non Public A State championship and final NJ Hoops ranking of 3rd in the state.

As a senior Diagne averaged 15 ppg and 12 rpg. He was named NJ.com 1st Team All State Non Public, NJ Hoops 1st Team All State, NJ Hoops All State Senior and All NJAC American Division 1st Team.

He was also selected to NJ Hoops All International, All Shotblocker, All Post Scorers and All Rebounder Teams.

He was ranked as NJ Hoops #3 senior.
