Dumes is a Hoosier

Devon Dumes' recruiting really seemed to get crazy after the National Tourney this season. Dumes, (SO) 6-foot-2 (180) from Vincennes University, has signed with the Indiana Hoosiers for next season according to Vincennes University assistant coach Brian Davis. Dumes is an Indianapolis, IN native.

"Devon really liked the visit this weekend to IU and he thought it was the right place for him to play at next season," said Davis.

Dumes played his freshman season at Eastern Michigan University. He averaged 16.9 ppg, 4 assists and 3.6 rebounds this season for the Blazers. Devon visited UTEP-offered back in the fall, Colorado-visited and offered and visited Indiana University this weekend. Ohio State, Arkansas and Alabama all showed interest in the guard.
