The University of Alabama Birmingham landed a recruit from the Panhandle Conference. UAB added C.J Washington to their recruiting class for next season.
Washington visited the UAB campus this weekend and walked away with a scholarship offer from the Blazers.
Washington played in 17 games at Tallahassee Community College before getting hurt. The Augusta native averaged 12.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season for the Eagles.
Washington shot 57 percent (87-153) from the floor last season.
Washington attended Butler High School in Augusta, Ga. before going to TCC.
