Matt Korcheck played this past season at Cochise College in Douglas, Ariz. for Head Coach Jerry Carrillo. Korcheck is back this season for the Apaches in Region 1.

Korcheck averaged 8.3 points and 6 rebounds last season. He showed improvement from the end of last season as he played extremely well last month at the Mullens JUCO Camp in St Charles, Mo. on the campus of Lindenwood University.
Korcheck informed JucoJunction he has received interest from Oklahoma, Iowa, Missouri, Washington State, Nebraska and Western Kentucky this summer.
"Matt has a great upside to his game," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson. "Matt is very long and bouncy and quite mobile on the floor with the ability to finish around the rim."
