East Mississippi prospect signs early

East Mississippi Community College has a lot of talent this season. JucoJunction had a chance to see the Lions play at Kenn Littlefield's Southeast Jamboree in Marietta, GA last month. Lions assistant coach Jeremy Shulman informed JucoJunction today that one of his players decided to sign with a Division One program during the early signing period. JucoJunction has the latest on this signing in this story.
"Micah Jordan is signing with Texas-Pan American for next season. Micah is a very skilled, versatile big man who, at 6-foot-8 (245), can step outside and knock down perimeter shots in addition to posting up. Micah has great hands and excellent footwork. Micah will be a perfect fit for Coach Marks triangle offense at Texas-Pan American," said Shulman.

Jordan will redshirt this season for the Lions and have three years to play at Texas-Pan American. Jordan played his freshman season at Copiah Lincoln College in Mississippi. Micah visited Texas-Pan American back on October 23-25 and also received strong interest from Alabama A&M and Arkansas Pine Bluff this fall according to Shulman.
The Lions are currently 7-1 on the young season.
