East Mississippi standout makes his pick

Jarvis Hill has made up his mind on where he wants to play ball at next season. Hill, a sophomore at East Mississippi Community College committed today to attend the University of Louisiana-Monroe.

Mississippi University where he averaged 7.8 ppg for the Golden Eagles. Hill prepped at Mount Zion Christian (NC) and Bridgton Academy (ME) after leaving high school in Mississippi.
"Jarvis is the premier perimeter defensive player in the entire conference, and likely one of the best juco perimeter defenders nationwide," said assistant coach Jeremy Shulman.
Louisiana-Monroe-offered and Murray State-offered have shown heavy interest in Hill
from the fall. Jarvis averaged 16 ppg this season.
