Eastern Oklahoma duo close to decisions

It will be an interesting week at Eastern Oklahoma State College. The Mountaineers have two high level Division One prospects. By the end of the week, at least one of them should have signed.
"Kevin Palacios is probably going to sign with South Carolina and he may to do it as early as tomorrow," said head coach Jimmy Voight. "I don't know that for a fact, but he visited with them last weekend and really liked it."

Palacios is a 6-foot-8, 250-pound post player originally from Venezuela.
Palacios' teammate, Mario Taybron, probably won't make a decision that quickly, but this week should go a long way toward helping his decision.
"He's got a visit set up this week supposedly with Houston. Now I haven't seen him, but I've talked with the coaches and he's going to go there later this week on Friday," Voight said. "Oklahoma, I've talked to them, they're trying to maybe get him in prior to that. It's just one of those deals we'll stand by and see what happens."
Taybron started his career at Temple, but left the team after just a handful of games his freshman season. Purdue is also in the mix for Taybron.
