Elite guard down to three

Tyrone Appleton, (SO) 6-foot-3 (195), from Midland College has three solid offers from high major programs, all of whom are waiting on him to decide where he wants to play his college ball at next season.
Kansas, Kentucky and Iowa State all have offered the guard from Gary, IN a scholarship for next season. Tyrone is currently averaging 12.3 ppg and 5.2 assists on the season for the (25-3) Chaps. The Chaps won the NJCAA Division One Title last season in Hutchinson, KS. JucoJunction has Appleton rated the #3 player in the country.

"I just visited Kansas this past weekend and really enjoyed my visit. I visited Kentucky and Iowa State over the Christmas break and really enoyed those visits also. I hope to maybe make a decision in the next few weeks on where I will be heading to next season," said Appleton.
Appleton prepped at Bridgton Academy and Harmony Community School coming out of high school. Appleton signed with Virginia Tech coming out of prep school but failed to qualify academically. JucoJunction will keep you informed on Appleton's decision coming in the near future.
