Familiar setting

"Dominic Jackson is headed to Louisiana Tech University next season" said Olney Central College Head Coach Mike Burris.
Jackson, a shooting guard from Sunset, LA committed to the Bulldogs out of high school but failed to qualified academically. Jackson originally hails from Saginaw, MI. His uncle Tony Jackson played at Notre Dame during the 2006-2010 seasons.

"Dominic is going to be an excellent player in Head Coach Mike White's system. Dominic is a big-time athlete with the ability to score the basketball. He has really improved on all aspects of his game while here at OCC" said Burris.
Jackson helped the Blue Knights to the Region 24 Championship game last season before falling to Vincennes University 80-66. Jackson averaged 8.5 ppg and 2.6 rebounds last season while connecting on 36% (46-128) from three point range.
Jackson scored a season high 33 points versus Lake Land College in the Region Tourney.
The Blue Knights will look to compete for one of the two berths given to Region 24 this coming season and a berth to Hutchinson, KS.
