Few players still looking for a school

Norvell Arnold has just completed summer school work according to his brother Donald Griffin. Arnold has played the past two seasons at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA. Arnold visited Eastern Illinois University, Detroit Mercy and University of Rhode Island already this past spring.

Arnold scored 1,071 career points for the Blackhawks and averaged 18 ppg, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists this past season while shooting 52% (190-366) from the floor. The Blackhawks made it to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, KS and finished the year at 23-13. Arnold prepped at Progressive Christian Academy in Camp Springs, MD before heading off to junior college. Arnold will have two years to play at the next level. Arnold is ranked #21 in the country in the JucoJunction Top 150 this past season.
Kenny Moore and Curtis Jackson teammates at Midland College are still seeking a school for next season according to Chaps Head Coach Ross Hodge. Moore received a release from St Francis College in Brooklyn, NY after then Terriers coach Brian Nash was let go by the school. Jackson started his college career at Arkansas-Little Rock and is a Philadelphia, PA along with Moore. The duo helped Midland College to a 29-3 record this season before bowing out to eventual National Champion Howard College in the region championship game.
Moore averaged 9.9 ppg and 5.8 rebounds this season after transferring in from Johnson County Community College where he averaged 16 ppg for the NJCAA D2 Champs in 2008-2009. Moore is a third year player. Jackson averaged 3 ppg this past season for the Chaps.
