Florida big man headed to Vegas
Polk Community College big man Emmanuel Adeife did not take long to make his choice on a destination for his return to Division One basketball. Adeife, a transfer from the University of Houston, will be headed back out West next season.
"He made a verbal to UNLV," said head coach Matt Furjanic.

Adeife played in 12 games for the Cougars last season. He totaled ten points, 26 rebounds and 12 blocked shots.
"He hasn't played for us yet," said Furjanic. "But he's tall, he's lanky and we're expecting good things from him this year."
South Florida, Stony Brook and Duquesne also came in to see Adeife play, but he took just one visit, to Vegas.
"He has a good friend out there," Furjanic said. "He fell in love with the place when he was out there. He told me that's where he wants to be so we're happy for him."
