Florida forward to Southeast Missouri

Mark Caviness had a great freshman season at Indian River Community College in Fort Pierce, FL last season. Caviness, a (SO) 6-foot-5 (200) forward, hails from Washington, D.C. and will be attending Southeast Missouri State next season . Mark played one year of prep basketball at Philadelphia Lutheran before heading to IRCC.

Caviness averaged 13.4 ppg and 7.3 rebounds while shooting 52.7% from floor last season.

"Mark can play both inside and out and is very athletic. He can play both forward positions has great body," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.

Mark made first-team all-conference last season for IRCC which finished 22-8 on the season.
