Florida star makes his choice

JucoJunction had a chance to see Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville,FL play this past weekend in Macon, GA at Kenn Littlefield's JUCO Jamboree on the campus of Mercer University. Santa Fe Community College is coached by Chris Mowry. SFCC's top player, Aaron Holmes, decided to end his recruitment after taking two official visits.

Holmes, (SO) 6-foot-5 (195) from St. Petersburg, FL, will head to the Green Wave of Tulane University next season in New Orleans. JucoJunction has seen Holmes on two different occasions already this October this past weekend and earlier this month at the Tallahassee Community College Southeastern Jamboree. Holmes started his college career at Florida State and then transferred over to South Florida.

Aaron really likes to slash to the basket and has good size from the wing position. Holmes played at Florida Prep for one season after high school.
