Things are moving swiftly this spring for Scottsdale (AZ) freshman combo forward Seth Robinson.
Less than two weeks removed from the Arizona Community College and Athletic Conference spring showcase, Robinson is taking visits to a pair of Division I programs.

Scottsdale Head Coach Paul Eberhardt told JUCO Junction that Robinson has been offered scholarships by Boise State and San Jose State. He's currently visiting Boise State (May 5-7) and will wrap up a busy week at San Jose State (May 7-9).
Youngstown State and New Mexico State have also inquired, but Eberhardt said that Boise is the clear leader in Robinson's process.
A Phoenix native, Robinson was a qualifier out of high school. If he wraps up the year with a 2.0 GPA and 24 credit hours, he'll be able to leave Scottsdale with three to play on the D-I level.
The 200 pound forward prepped at Phoenix Christian H.S. prior to enrolling at Scottsdale. He led Region I in rebounding this past season, snagging 10.7 boards per contest. Robinson also shot 57 percent from the floor.
"He's a good athlete with a lean body who is crafty," Eberhardt told us in a previous interview. "He has a great knack for getting the ball off the rim."
As for 6-1 combo guard James Fontenet, he recently received scholarship offers from Youngstown State and Idaho State. Others showing interest in the sharp-shooting guard include Fullerton State and Tulsa.
Eberhardt said Fontenet hasn't yet planned any official visits. He'll need four hours this summer to graduate.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on both Fontenet and Robinson as they hurdle toward decisions this spring/summer. Stay tuned!
