Former ECU Pirate back to Division One

Hill College in Hillsboro, TX has its second player committed for the 2010-2011 season. JucoJunction just got word from Hill College Head Coach Swede Trenkle on this matter. JucoJunction has the latest on which Rebels player will be playing at next season in this article.

Chris Kupets, (SO) a 5-foot-11 point guard from Athens, GA, will play at Boise State University next season according to Trenkle. Kupets took an official visit this past weekend to Boise State campus walked away with a scholarship offer.

"Chris really liked the players and the coaches at Boise State. He really liked the campus and the town while on his visit," said Trenkle.

Kupets played his freshman season at East Carolina University in Conference USA.

Kupets prepped out of high school at the Patterson School in Lenoir,NC. Kupets has a sister who is an all-American Gymnast at the University of Georgia. Kupets played this past summer at Jerry Mullens 120 JUCO Camp in Tulsa. Kupets now joins teammate Monterale Clark who committed earlier to Marquette University of the Big East Conference.
