Former Gamecock back to Division One

Chipola College in Marianna, FL lost just two games this season under head coach Greg Heiar. The Indians were a top heavy in the sophomore class this past season. The Indians had a wing player take an official visit this past weekend and he came away liking what he had seen while on this visit. Trevor DeLoach, (FR) 6-foot-4 (190) from Saluda, SC, played this past season at Chipola College. DeLoach recently took an official visit this past weekend to UNC-Wilmington and walked away with a scholarship from the Seahawks. DeLoach, a former South Carolina Gamecock recruit, redshirted at the school in the 2007-2008 season. DeLoach will have three years to play for the Seahawks starting this fall.
DeLoach played on a very talented team this past season at Chipola. Recently teammate Gary Flowers, the number one player in the country by JucoJunction, put his name in the NBA Draft according to head coach Greg Heiar. DeLoach averaged 4 ppg on this very talented team this past season.
