Former Houston Cougar makes a pledge

The Midland College Chaps have a new boss this season in Ross Hodge. Hodge comes over from Paris Junior College after replacing Grant McCasland who moved onto Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. Coach Hodge gave JucoJunction the heads up on one of his players making a early pledge for next season. We have the latest on this player in this story.
Brockeith Pane is heading to Utah State University next season according to coach Hodge. Pane, a shooting guard, started his college career at the University of Houston where he averaged 6.3 ppg in 28 games for the Cougars back in 2007-2008 season. Pane left the program last season early and followed Hodge to Midland College.

Pane played this past season at the Mullens JUCO 120 Camp in Tulsa,OK. Brockeith visited North Texas University also before deciding on the Aggies of Utah State according to coach Hodge.
JucoJunction will see the Midland College Chaps this coming weekend in the Mitchell-Mullen Dallas Blowout Jamboree in Dallas.
