Former Okie State commit decides

Trenton Marshall made an early verbal to Oklahoma State University this past summer, but that fell by the side and now Marshall has signed on the dotted line with an Ohio Valley Conference School. Marshall, (SO) 6-foot-5 (225) from Jones County Junior college in Mississippi, will be a Gamecock next season. Marshall signed with Jacksonville State University of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Marshall played for current Gamecocks assistant coach Kyle Roane at Jones County JC last season where he averaged 23.9 ppg and 7.5 rebounds. Marshall is a Garyville, LA native and is a pre-season all-American this coming season for JCJC.

Marshall is off to a 25 ppg clip this season under new Jones County Junior College head coach Don "Bubba" Skelton.
