Former teammates decide on future

Pensacola State College plays in the rugged Panhandle Conference. The Pirates this season finished the year at 21-11 under head coach Pete Pena.
Denzel Richardson and Montray Clemons both have signed on with NCAA Division One programs for next season. Richardson will play at Eastern Kentucky University while Clemons will head to University of San Francisco.

Richardson, a Baltimore, MD native will have two seasons to play for the Ohio Valley Conference School. Richardson, a guard, averaged 11.1 ppg and 3.9 rebounds this year for the Pirates.
Clemons, a combo forward, played in just 15 games this season before leaving the Pirates program. Clemons, a third year player, started his college career at DePaul University after
playing at M.A.C.K Prep in Charlotte, NC.
Both players played last summer in the Peach State JUCO Showcase in Augusta,GA.
