Former Volunteer back to Division One

Chattanooga State Community College center Phillip Jurick has already been at the four-year level before. Jurick redshirted last year for the University of Tennessee. JucoJunction had a chance to see Jurick last month at Kenn Littlefield's JUCO Jamboree in Marietta, GA and walked away quite impressed with the big man. Jurick decided to end his recruitment early when he signed recently with a Southern Conference program. JucoJunction has the latest on where Jurick is headed in this article.
Phillip Jurick is staying close to home to next season and wil play at Chattanooga next season for Mocs Head Coach John Shulman.

"Phillip has great hands and can really alter shots on the defensive end of the floor. Phillip has a great jump hook on the offensive end. Jurick is a great get for the Mocs and especially when you can get him for three years," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson.
Jurick has a good supporting cast this season at Chattanooga State Community College with guard Patrick Meyers and B.J. Frazier. Meyers and Frazier were both recently named in JucoJunction Top 150. JucoJunction will keep a eye on all the action from Tennessee Region this season right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
