Former Washington signee finds new team

Charles Garcia only played the first semester this past season at Riverside Community College in Riverside, CA. Garcia left the Tigers at the semester break and enrolled at Yuba College in Northern California to start the new year. Garcia will be heading to Seattle, WA after all, but he will now attend Seattle University next fall instead of the University of Washington. Garcia was denied admission into Washington but he is still eligible by NCAA standards. Seattle University is coached by former Washington assistant Cameron Dollar. Dollar recruited Garcia to the Huskies and now to the Redhawks.
Garcia played in 20 games last season for Riverside Community College where he averaged 12.3 ppg and 6.7 rebounds before leaving to attend Yuba College this past spring. Garcia started his college career at Sacramento State University coming out of high school at Los Angeles Dorsey. Garcia never played at Sacramento State University. Garcia is ranked #31 player in the country in JucoJunction Top 150 poll this past season.
