Fort Scotts Brown: No Other Trips Set Yet

Kelvin Brown, who established himself as one of the nation's top power forward prospects this winter at Fort Scott C.C. in Kansas, is in a bit of a holding pattern this spring.
JUCO Junction caught up with Fort Scott Head Coach Brette Tanner on Thursday night, and he told us that the 6-7 forward has no other visits set up this spring.

Brown took his only visit of the spring thus far to Southern Illinois prior to the Final Four.
"I am not sure what he's going to do," Tanner said. "He visited Southern Illinois but has no other visits set up."
Nebraska came in on Wednesday Apr. 9 to visit with Brown, and Miami (FL) is also sniffing a bit this spring with the South Florida transfer. To date, however, Southern Illinois is the only school that's ponied up a scholarship offer.
Brown averaged a double-double this season at Fort Scott C.C. in Fort Scott, Kan., scoring 22.2 points and grabbing 10 boards per game.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Brown's situation this spring until it reaches a conclusion, so stay tuned.
