Fresh start
Talan Whitaker played last season at first year program Northwest Kansas Tech College.
Whitaker, a forward, has since moved south down the road to Garden City Community College.

Whitaker, a Denver, CO native recently took a official visit to Texas Pan American and walked away with scholarship offer. Whitaker returned the favor and committed to the Broncs this week.
Whitaker averaged 10.1 ppg and 7.4 rebounds last season while shooting 48% (123-258) from the floor last season.
Garden City Community College is coached by Brady Trenkle. Whitaker will be a Broncbuster this season and next year he will be a UTPA Bronc.
