Matt Kelly recently was named NJCAA D2 Player of the Week. The freshman point guard is from North Central College in Trenton, Mo. Kelly scored 39 points versus rival Penn Valley Community College.

The freshman qualifier is currently averaging 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game this season for the Pirates. The Pirates are currently 11-6 on the season under head coach Steve Richman.
