From San Jose City to San Jose State for JC Guard

Mike McFadden, the high scoring shooting/combo guard from San Jose City College in San Jose, Calif., has signed a national letter of intent to attend San Jose State University in the fall.
JUCO Junction was informed of the commitment by SJCC Asst. Coach Tyson Aye.

McFadden's plans for college were a bit uncertain after his was dismissed from the Jaguar squad this winter by legendary Head Coach Percy Carr.
But the Spartans were willing to roll the dice with McFadden a bit and hope that he works out for them. There's little denying his talent for scoring with the basketball.
A product of De Anza H.S. in Richmond, Calif., the 6-4, 195 pound McFadden averaged 14.1 points and four assists per game in 2002-2003 for the Jaguars.
Blessed with a strong build and good athleticism, McFadden is a versatile player who does a lot of things well but nothing spectacular. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at San Jose State.
McFadden is the second Jaguar player to sign with a Division I program this spring. Earlier this week, 6-8 power forward Jeff Jones inked with New Mexico State.
