Garden City duo putting up the points
Julian Allen and Yima Chia-Kur lead the Broncbusters into the Jayhawk Shootout with a 7-3 record.
Allen, 6-foot-4 (205), is a 2/3 man from Waterbury, CT. Allen signed early in the early signing period with Georgia Southern. Julian is a transfer from Pensacola CC (FL).

Allen on the year is at 19.6 points per game and 6.4 rebounds.
"Julian is the best scoring guard I have ever had," said coach Kris Baumann. "He recently had 32 points and 14 rebounds versus McCook CC (NE). Julian is a bigtime scorer who is lefthanded."
His only visit was to Georgia Southern.
Yima Chia-Kur, 6-foot-6 (225), redshirted last year at Garden City. He spent the 2004-05 season at Lamar CC (CO). Yima is from Mansfield, OH.
"Chia-Kur is a juco deluxe 4/3 man that drives and scores in the post," Baumann said. "He scores in a variety of ways. Yima looks like a gladiator."
Yima on the season is averaging 20.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. He recently had 27 points against Frank Phillips (TX). His recruitment is a little slow right now according to Baumann just because a lot of schools don't know he is here. TCU and St Louis are the early ones in on Chia-Kur.
