Gardner Webb goes Silver
Anton Silver, (SO) 6-foot-2 from Louisburg College, was a first-team all-region player and averaged 17.4 ppg this year. Silver scored over 920 career points in two seasons as a Hurricane.
Anton will play basketball next season in the Southern Conference at Gardner Webb University in North Carolina. Silver hails from nearby Concord, NC. Anton started two seasons for Louisburg College Head coach Aaron Denton.
He had interest from USC-Upstate-visited and offered, Winston Salem State-visited and offered and also received interest from Coastal Carolina and Youngstown State.
