Generals off to fast start

Sheridan College is off to a 10-0 season this year under head coach Steve Smiley. The Generals are currently ranked No. 25 in the latest NJCAA Poll and look for them to move up this coming week in the next poll. Jarrell Crayton (pictured on front) is off to great start this season for the Generals. Crayton has had offers from Fresno State, Portland, South Dakota State and Oral Roberts this season according to Coach Smiley.

Boise State, Colorado, Virginia and Ohio University have shown interest this season.
The forward hails from Bellevue, N.E. Crayton is averaging 17.1 points and 9 rebounds per game this season while shooting 73 percent from the floor.
The backcourt for the Generals is guided by two sophomores. Omar McDade and Kendrick Morse are that duo for the Generals.
McDade is a combo guard and is averaging 12.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game this season.
Morse is the starting point guard for the Generals and is averaging 9.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Utah Valley State University and Central Michigan University have shown interest in Morse who hails from Richton, I.L.
Lamont Prosser a freshman power forward from Fort Wayne, I.N. is a promising player who played at Charis Prep in Wilson, N.C. last year.
Prosser is averaging 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season. Prosser should be ranked among the best sophomores in the country next season.
The Generals are looking to get to the NJCAA National Tourney this March in Hutchinson, K.S.
