Globe Tech has more to offer

Globe Tech sits right in the heart of the Big Apple in Manhattan. Head Coach Ken Wilcox just finished his 7th year at Globe Tech with a 24-4 record before losing in the Region Tourney to Westchester CC (NY). Coach Wilcox caught JucoJunction up on some of his players' recruitment today.
Darren Townes: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) Verballed in the last few days to Hofstra for next season. Townes played his freshman season at Polk CC in Florida.

Todfeek Hill: (SO) 6-foot-1 (190) from Willingboro, NJ. Hill is a very strong looking linebacker that must go the D2/NAIA route. The catch-shoot specialist is not of a creator but is a solid on the ball defender. Todfeek averaged about 7.5 ppg and 4 rebounds this season. Hill played his freshman season back in 2003-2004 at Keystone College (PA). He really has desires to stay up in the Northeast for college next season.
Tobias Mahone: (SO) 6-foot-3 (200) from Ft. Myers, FL.
"Tobias is an undersized 4/3 man that has very long arms. He has struggled this season with a muscle pull in his stomach area," said Wilcox.
Mahone averaged 3.4 ppg this past season at Globe. The lefty brings a lot of effort to the court night in and out.
Justin Gardenhire: (SO) 5-foot-10 (170) from New York, NY. Gardenhire played both seasons at Globe Tech after playing some prep ball at Redemption Christian Academy in Troy, NY.
"Justin was a two-year starter for us and he's just a floor general. He really knows the game well and has a great basketball IQ," said Wilcox.
Justin averaged 12.2 ppg and 6.7 assists this season. Gardenhire was an academic qualifier coming out of prep school. He is wide open in the recruiting process.
Rob Robinson: (FR) 6-foot-8 (220) from Oxen Hill, MD. Robinson attended Georgia State University a few years back but did not play after being shot in a night club incident. Rob was a academic qualifier out of high school and averaged 14.6 ppg and 10.1 rebounds this past season for Globe Tech. The Region Player of the Year has a chance to leave with three years left to play at the next level.
"Rob is a very athletic run-jump-athlete. He has a great jump hook and must finish better in traffic," said Wilcox.
Steve Brignol: (FR) 6-foot-5 (200) from Brooklyn, NY. The former player from Transit Tech was a redshirt a season ago at Globe. Steve has been enrolled at Globe for four fulltime semesters and plans on returning next season.
"Steve is a very athletic three man with long arms that can shoot the three ball" said Wilcox.
Brignol averaged 9 ppg and 4.3 rebounds this season. St Peter's (NY), Niagara and Marist are watching Brignol for the future.
