"Christian Leach came in this season and really dedicated himself to the daily grind and got into better shape. Christian is a great scorer that can get to the rim at will and finish with either hand" said Golden Norse Assistant Coach Jeremy Jackson.
Leach is currently averaging 14.9 ppg, 3.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists while connecting on 57%
(118-209) from the floor. Leach is a third year player after starting off at Missouri State-West Plains a few seasons back.
"Derrick Frye is an ultimate team player that will run through a wall for anyone in our program" said Jackson. Frye, an undersized stretch 4/3, really excels from 15 feet and in.
Frye, an Atlanta, GA native is chipping in 13 ppg and 4.6 rebounds a night for the Golden Norse while connecting on 51% (106-209) from the floor. Frye played this past summer at the Peach State JUCO Showcase in Augusta, GA.
Ja'Mill Powell, a Brideport, CT native, played at Body of Christ Christian Academy in Durham, NC before arriving at NEO A&M. Powell is averaging 13.1 ppg and 4 rebounds this season.
Powell a small forward, has received interest from Buffalo, Montana State, Delaware, Central
Connecticut State, Nebraska-Omaha and Albany according to Jackson.
The Golden Norse are currently 15-9 on the season.
