Good showing

Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE made the transition from the likes of Region 9 to the Iowa Region last season. The Hawks are coached by longtime head coach Dan Anderson.
The Hawks will look to lean on this season undersized post player Khapri Alston. "Alston is load in the paint with his big rump and loves to draw contact on both ends of the floor" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Alston, a Chicago, IL native, averaged 13.7 ppg and 7.2 rebounds last season while connecting on 50% (176-351) from the floor. The Hawks finished the year at 16-15.
South Carolina State, Portland State, UC Riverside, Montana State and Central Michigan are all showing interest in Alston this fall according to Hawks Assistant Coach Adam Blaylock.
Alston played really well this summer in Mullen's JUCO Showcase in St Louis, MO.
