A native of College Park, Ga., Brown has been offered a scholarship by Florida A&M. Georgia State, Mercer and Georgia are among the other programs showing an interest in the Southern swingman.
Brown, who has earned his A.A. degree, averaged 15 points, 6.4 rebounds and two assists per game for the Jaguars in 2002-2003.
New Georgia Head Coach Dennis Felton, whose program has been beseiged by the loss of several early signees, is looking at Brown to take an academic scholarship. Barney said that he could possibly be a Hope scholar at UGa. Brown was a full qualifier out of high school.
JUCO Junction will keep you posted on Brown's decision this spring, so keep it here for the most up to date information in JC hoops.
