Graysons Metelski Drawing Early Attention
Adam Metelski, a 6-10, 270 pound center from Grayson County C.C. in Denison, Tex., has made some strides in his game over the past year.
A native of Poland, Metelski has added considerable strength and size to his frame. At the recent Dallas JC Jamboree, Metelski displayed good hands and the ability to finish on contact.

Unlike a lot of European players, Metelski likes to play with his back to the basket. He has some ball skills, but is best suited for a halfcourt set due to his conditioning and reaction time. Suffice to say at 6-10, 270, he isn't exactly a run/jump guy.
Grayson Head Coach Pat Rafferty told JUCO Junction that Metelski visited Cal-Irvine officially this fall. Among other programs expressing interest are Creighton and New Mexico State.
Based on his size and general lack of available big bodies in the spring, Metelski could wind up being a key mid-major recruiting target.
