Half dozen still looking from Motlow State

Motlow State Community College Head coach Bobby Steinburg just finished his second season running the Bucks. The Bucks finished the season at (28-5). The previous record was 25 wins at Motlow State. The Bucks will have six players going onto Division One basketball this year.
JucoJunction has verified that coach Steinburg has received some offers to move onto the next level for next season. Motlow State fell short to Walters State Community College 61-57 in the Region tourney to end the season.

Tyree Evans: (SO) 6-foot-3 (210) from Richmond, VA.
Tyree was voted Region Player of the Year this season. Evans, a transfer from Butler County Community College (KS) and a former Cincinnati commitment out of prep school, is receiving a lot of looks this spring. Arizona, Maryland, Florida State and Kansas State are in on Evans. Evans will set up a visit to Maryland after the Final Four. Tyree averaged 21.3 ppg and 5 rebounds this past season.
Frank Henry-Ala: (SO) 6-foot-5 (205) from Pasadena, CA.
Southern Illinois, UT-San Antonio, Indiana State, Charlotte, Iowa State and Troy (AL) have contacted Steinburg on Henry-Ala. Frank recently visited UT-San Antonio on March 30-April 1. Henry-Ala went for 9.7 ppg and 10.4 rebounds a outing this season.
Anthony Sally: (SO) 6-foot-2 (185) from Richmond, VA.
Sally played his freshman season at Tallahassee Community College. Sally is getting interest from East Carolina, Pepperdine and Troy according to Steinburg. Sally, a pure point guard, averaged 7.7 ppg, 6.2 rebounds and 7.4 assists this season.
Demarco Stepter: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Memphis, TN.
Demarco visited Southeast Missouri State-March 27-29. UT-San Antonio, East Tennessee State, Southern Illinois, Pepperdine and Middle Tennessee State are keeping tabs on Stepter this fall. Stepter averaged a double-double 12.1 ppg and 11.3 rebounds for the season.
Bijon Jones: (SO) 5-foot-10 (180) from Henderson, TN.
Jones is being recruited by Montana State and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo according to Steinburg.
"Bijon is a great on the ball defender," said Steinburg.
Bijon got 6.5 ppg and 3.3 assists an outing this year.
Israel Kirk: (SO) 6-foot-7 (225) from Nashville, TN.
Kirk has gained a lot of new interest recently. Evansville, Arkansas State, Southern University, Alabama A&M, Southeast Missouri State and Western Carolina are following Kirk this spring.
"Israel is very skilled, strong and bouncy," said Steinburg.
Kirk has tentatively set up a visit at Southeast Missouri State for after the Final Four. Kirk averaged 4.2 ppg and 3.9 rebounds this season. Israel started his college career at Lipscomb University.
