"EJ is a tenacious rebounder and a bruiser inside for us. He is the most productive kid I have had here in my two years," said Vasher.
The undersized post is averaging 20.6 ppg,10.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks this season. EJ scored 42 points versus San Jose City College this season. The 1st team All-Conference player has been a two year starter and has over 1,000 career points at Hartnell. Metro State-offered, Chaminade, St Edward's (TX) and Cal-San Bernardino are contacting Petty.
"EJ can go outside and defend a wing if need be," said Vasher.
Brock Beck: (SO) 5-foot-11 Salt Lake City, UT. The starting point guard must go the D2/NAIA route. Beck has made stops at Yavapai and Dixie in the past but did not play at either of the schools.
"Brock is playing more of a combo guard this season for us. He has deep range on his shot," said Vasher.
The 3.3 GPA student is receiving interest from Dixie State (UT) and St Edward's (TX). Beck is averaging 14.1 ppg and 4.7 assists this season. Brock is a 1st team all-conference performer this season for the Panthers.
Jordan Kilgore: (FR) 6-foot-9 (215) from Salt Lake City, UT. Kilgore started off in college at BYU as a student back in 2003-2004 and then went on a LDS mission to Miami, Florida for the 2004-2006 seasons. Kilgore will graduate this spring from Hartnell and have three years left at the next level.
Jordan is a 4.0 student. He is very skilled with good range. The last seven games he has really turned it up a notch by averaging 18 ppg and 11 rebounds. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor and faceup from 15-17 feet.
