Hawkeyes land Vincennes big man

Vincennes University finished this season at 22-9 after losing to Harcum College in the district tourney 67-63. The Blazers, under head coach David Ragland, have their second player to make a decision on where he will be playing ball next season. Coach Ragland contacted JucoJunction today to give us the rundown on which player decided.
Devon Archie has committed to the University of Iowa according to coach Ragland. Devon will visit the campus next month. Archie, 6-foot-9 (215) from Indianapolis, IN, played his high school ball at Ben Davis High School. Archie averaged 6.8 ppg and 6 rebounds this season for the Blazers.
Archie also received interest from IP-Fort Wayne and Fordham according to Ragland before deciding to be a Hawkeye next year.
