Hawks look to soar

Northeast Community College in Norfolk, NE joined the Iowa Region a few seasons back after leaving Region 9 (CO,NE,WY and MT).

Chima Moneke has returned for his sophomore season. Moneke, a very versatile combo forward, averaged 10.7 ppg and 7.2 rebounds last season. Moneke shot 54% (114-211) from the floor.
"Chima is a great mismatch guy on the floor with his ability to play inside-out. Chima has a great ability to put the ball on the deck with his quick first step" said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Jalen Bradley, a hometown product, has spent the past two seasons at Nebraska-Omaha. Bradley is a third year point guard who will look to lead the Hawks this season.
LJ Westbrook, a slender sleek guard, arrived back in March as a student at Northeast Community College. Westbrook is a Salem, OR native. He prepped at 22 Feet Academy last season in Greenville, SC.
Westbrook will be a freshman on the roster this season for the Hawks.
