Hawks player sees interest

Cosumnes River Community College is located in the capital city of Sacramento, Calif. The Hawks are coached by James Giacomazzi.

The Hawks will prepare for the playoffs starting this week on the road at nearby Ohlone College in Fremont, Calif. The Hawks have been led all season long by Tony Gill.
The 6-foot-9-inch 225 pound power forward hails from Antelope, Calif. Gill is having a great sophomore season for the Hawks as he currently is averaging 18.3 points and 10.4 rebounds. Gill is shooting 55 percent (169-309) from the floor and 80 percent from the charity stripe.
Gill has the ability to step out and knockdown the 3-pointer. Gill is currently at 39 percent (46-117) from behind the arc on the season.
Gill has received interest from Northern Arizona, UC Riverside, Cal Poly, Long Beach State, Albany, Belmont, Sacramento State, Loyola-Chicago, Utah Valley, Wichita State and Boston College this spring according to the Hawks coaching staff.
