Hawks Player Stays In State, One Still Looking

Hillsborough Community College now has three players moving onto division one basketball next year. Hawks Head Coach Derrick Worrels contacted JucoJunction.com this morning and gave us the lowdown on a few of his players happenings.
Timothy Snyder is heading off to Florida Gulf Coast University next season according to Worrels. "Tim is a very gutsy player that can really get to the basket and also can knockdown the 15 footer" said Worrels. Snyder averaged 6.2 ppg and 6.2 rebounds this season for the Hawks.

Snyder a combo forward is a sixth semester player after being at Ava Maria University in 2008-2009. Snyder started his college career at South Florida as a student. Snyder will have two years to play for Florida Gulf Coast University.
Center Marial Dhal, a onetime University of Houston signee is taking a visit to Canisus College this weekend according to Worrels. Dhal 7-foot-3 from Uganda, Africa averaged 2.9 ppg and 5.9 rebounds this season. Dhal played at Our Savior New American School in Centerreach, NY before heading to junior college.
Dhal is also receiving interest from Hampton, Bethune-Cookman and Southern University this spring according to Worrels. JucoJunction will stay on top of the big man from Hillsborough Community College and his decision right here on JucoJunction.
